Rixos Premium Belek has been awarded a certificate under the White Star (Beyaz Yıldız) Project, developed by the Hoteliers Federation of Turkey (TÜROFED) and supported by Diversey. The project aims to reduce harm to the environment and natural resources by bringing the consumption of water, electricity, energy, chemicals and solid waste at tourism facilities under control.
The hotel’s General Manager, Tansel Tercan, received the document from the project’s representatives. Tercan said sustainability in tourism can only be achieved through sustainable environmental policies, adding that the property involves both its employees and its guests in its environmental efforts.
