A book on the psychology of values and the human being by psychiatrist Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, Founding Rector of Üsküdar University, was presented at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (ENU) in Astana. At the event, followed by representatives of the Turkish Embassy in Kazakhstan, faculty members and students, ENU Rector Yerlan Sydykov said Tarhan’s life was an example for young people; the university conferred an honorary doctorate on Tarhan.
Tansel Tercan, a member of ENU’s Board of Directors, also took the floor and delivered a speech during the launch programme. As part of Tarhan’s contacts in Astana, a dinner was given in his honour at Rixos President Astana, attended by Dr. Tansel Tercan and his wife Dr. Nurfer Tercan.
