ANKARA – The Rixos Grand Ankara Hotel, which opened in the capital in May, has been presented.
At the dinner given on the occasion of the presentation, Rixos Grand Ankara Hotel General Manager Tansel Tercan stated that, as the hotel management, they attach great importance to the training of employees and said: “We have an aim of bringing tourism to a certain level by bringing the employee to a certain level.”
Noting that hosting major events is among their missions, Tercan said that the moment they lose this they will not be able to succeed.
When reminded that Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan chooses Rixos Hotels to stay at during his holidays, Tercan said: “A person goes where he feels comfortable. We make no political distinction. We do not have a mentality of ‘let us provide service specially for certain people’.”
The Rixos Grand Ankara Hotel, built by Çelikler Yatırım Holding A.Ş through the renovation of the former Büyük Ankara Hotel for 150 million dollars, had been opened in May by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
