signed a training agreement with the Rixos Premium Belek Hotel in Belek, Antalya, of Rixos Group, which operates in the sector.
Under the agreement, students of the Department of Food and Beverage Management began taking the Sectoral Practice course of the 4th semester of their studies at Rixos Premium Belek under the leadership of Vocational Training Manager Adil Tekin Üzümcü. The hotel’s General Manager, Tansel Tercan, stated that Rixos is an important school in the field of hotel management, that the chain attaches great importance to training and that it has professional training units. He added that Rixos trains its employees by inviting expert trainers from abroad.
Tercan emphasised that their concluding a training agreement with Adıyaman University’s School of Tourism and Hotel Management is a fine example of sector-university cooperation and that all universities should make room for similar practices.
