The first volume of al-Farabi’s “Kitâbu’l-Mûsîka’l-Kebîr” has been published in Turkish by TÜRKSOY with the subtitle “Müzik Sanatına Dair Büyük Kitap” (The Great Book on the Art of Music). The book was prepared by Nurfer Tercan and Abdullah Kızılcık.
In AVESİS, Istanbul University’s academic data system, the work is recorded as a TÜRKSOY publication dated 2021 under the names of Kızılcık and Tercan. A second-hand bookseller’s listing states that the book was printed in Ankara, has 175 pages, measures 16×24 centimetres and came out in paperback. The records that were opened do not give an ISBN for the book.
